Protect your personal information using "keshipon"!

消しポン

Following our last post, you can also choose to protect your personal information when discarding unwanted mails using "keshipon".

"keshi" in Japanese means to erase, and "pon" is the sound of stamping.
To ensure your mails don't get into the wrong hands (especially if you have a stalker). Simply stamp the area over your address and any other personal information.
And of course, these comes in all sorts of sizes and patterns. Whether you are a Hello Kitty, Micky Mouse or Doraemon fan, you can stamp till your heart desires!

Protect your privacy with Shredder Scissors

Love to shred stuff but don't own a shredder at home?!
No worries!
Japanese people always think one step ahead.
Shredder scissors allow you to cut with not one, not two, but FIVE SIX SEVEN EIGHT OR NINE scissors in one go!
You can easily shred your personal letters, bills or what have you in no time!

Go home, go Egyptian

Ooo that feeling as you step out of the tub after a long deserved soak. There’s nothing that can compare to being greeted by a high quality tight knit Egyptian cotton towel.
It’s like a warm hug from a teddy bear, firm yet gentle. Let its thick heavy plush arms wrap itself around you taking you to a luxurious nirvana.

Spoil yourself and choose Egyptian cotton, Egyptian cotton ensures your purchase is of a much higher thread count than other alternatives. Higher thread counts mean that there are more threads being used in every square millimeter than those of a lower thread count, giving you that full plush buttery soft experience.

Leader of the Band by Urban Originals

Latest purchase: Urban Originals Bag - Leader of the Band
It was love at first sight~

This big drawstring buckle bag is covered with gunmetal studs. Very unique and very different from all the typical studded bags you see in shops. It comes in black PVC material too but the studs stand out more with the grey denim. Inside is super cute as well with love heart all over the lining material.

The straps are adjustable so it can be worn over the shoulder or across the body. The studs are very secure so don't have to worry about falling out or rough edges sticking out.

It is pretty big for a shoulder bag but very practical when going shopping as you can put anything in it! Retail was AUD$150 but I got it at a VIP sale with 15% off.
LOVE IT! heartheartheart

Subliminal message

Sometimes you tread along at work and key in numbers in the calculator like you always do...

And then it talks to you...

Go 2 hell to you too calculator! Grr!

Does your stationery talk to you? For me, it's time for a calculator with some manners!

Mighty instrument

Went to a wedding last weekend and witnessed a powerful instrument - the almighty pen. Soft as a feather, yet mightier than a sword. With this pen, two love birds sealed the vows they made to each other. With this pen, a matrimony was cemented and two incomplete hearts were completed.

Who says stationery isn't important? What would be your next stationery purchase? Mine would be a set of erasers. :-)

Black + white = green?

Came across an interesting blog today, which informed that DBA sells biodegradable pens. These pens are 98% biodegradable, made from plant material and produced using wind power. Undoubtedly, these pen are expensive - 8.98USD. Would you purchase it? If the ink is composed of "simple, environmentally responsible ingredients", then would what you write disappear in a matter of years?
The website is simple and refreshing. Black and white is their theme to making the world greener.

Today, I watered the plants with rain water, sorted out the recyclable items from the bin and held my breath for 30 second. What would you do and how far would you go to save our planet? Maybe holding your breath for longer periods of time? =P

Attention seeker anonymous

What do you do if you want to emphasise words while you speak? Clap your hands? Bang the table? Wave your hand? Spit in the listeners' face?

What do you do when you want to exit with emphasis? Slam the door? Stump your feet? Shout out "I'm leaving!!!"? Gather all your fart and let it out before you leave?

As attention seekers, we do anything to get your attention.

picture taken at a bus stop in Madrid, Spain.

No the glass was not smashed. That was a part of the poster. Good advertising strategy huh? I'm impressed. Are you? :-)

Our own lightbox for photographs

The first post that we blogged was on how to make a home-made lightbox for taking photographs. We decided to make a lightbox just like the one shown on wikihow! And here it is!

First you choose a cardboard box of your liking.

Then you cut it up like wikihow has showed us.

And then you wrap it in tissue paper just like wikihow.

Shine a light into it, and take pictures of your goodies!

Pretty cool, right? ;-)

Hope to see your pretty pictures soon!

A broken promise

Before the purchase of your brand new iPhone, they assure you the toughness of the touch screen. Then a slow motion drop like in the movie "Inception" shatters not only your touch screen but also your fragile heart. To fix, 250AUD thank you very much! ;-)

If only you had an iPhone protector...

Lucky number

What are the chances of you walking down a street that you always take to go to work and find a "bingo" or "tatts lotto" ball laying steady on the ground? And it's number is 17. Hang on...! Isn't it the 17th of September today? Maybe it's my lucky day! :-)
Or yours... =D

Boring stationery

When was the last time I bought some decent stationery? Way too long ago! These days I just use free pens that are obtained from work or sales representatives like "Millipore". How boring!

Women at work

In this day and age, political correctness is a must, especially at work. No longer can we apply terms like men to the whole human population. :-)

But ironically - are working women really dangerous? To be pondered...

Eye of the tiger

These are amazing stones. They make beautiful necklaces. Don't the stripes on the stones remind you of the eye of the tiger? Hence their intimidating name "tiger eye". Can you look away from the captivating yet intimidating stare of a tiger?

Light them up!

A notice board that lights up. I have not seen such a thing sold in Melbourne. Have you?
